Alex Coopers Unwell Network Signs Ad-Sales Pact With Spotify

Alex Cooper‘s mega-popular podcast “Call Her Daddy” is already exclusive to Spotify. Now the host and entrepreneur has entered into a new business deal with Spotify covering ad sales and distribution for podcasts under her Unwell Network banner.
Under the pact, Spotify will serve as the sales partner for the Unwell Network, aimed at Gen Z audiences. Podcasts will be monetized via Spotify direct sales and its audio-first advertising marketplace, the Spotify Audience Network. Spotify’s Megaphone enterprise podcast platform will host and distribute Unwell Network’s two initial podcasts — “Hot Mess With Alix Earle” and “Pretty Lonesome With Madeline Argy” — and the partnership may also extend to future series developed by the Unwell Network team.
The Unwell Network is a subsidiary of Trending, founded by Cooper and her fiancé, Matt Kaplan, CEO of ACE Entertainment. Cooper is repped by UTA, which brokered the deal between the Unwell Network and Spotify.
